Dr. Meredith Vay
PT, DPT, CSCS
Dr. Meredith Vay earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Virginia Commonwealth University (VMU), and has since worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting in Richmond, VA. Prior to this she earned her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina (UofSC). While at UofSC, she competed on the swim team and achieved All-SEC Second team and All-SEC Freshman team honors.
Dr. Vay specializes in the treatment of sports injuries and orthopedic conditions through the use of manual therapy techniques, movement assessment, and exercise intervention. Dr. Vay is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCS). She recently participated in the Institute of Clinical Excellence (ICE) course, Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete (CMFA). She is passionate about educating and empowering patients to improve strength and quality of life.
In her free time, Dr. Vay enjoys CrossFit, Olympic lifting, hiking, long distance road-biking, and watching Gamecock Women’s Basketball
