Olivia Kerna

Care Coordinator

Olivia was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, but has resided in Fort Mill, South Carolina ever since she moved there in 2006. She attended the University of South Carolina and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, recently graduating in December 2023. In hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist, she will be applying to graduate programs this coming summer to pursue this career. Her journey with Ascent started in the fall of 2023 as an intern finishing up her undergraduate degree. She enjoyed her time there so much that she was grateful to be able to continue to work there as a PT Tech and now a Care Coordinator!

Being at Ascent has helped to foster her passion for physical therapy and help others reach their goals. Her goal is to make sure that patients leave the clinic with a smile on their faces and to contribute to the overall wellness of every individual. In Olivia’s free time, she loves to play volleyball as she was competitively involved for 12 years throughout her life. She will always find ways to stay active whether that be outdoor sports on a nice day or indoors at the gym; she loves a good friendly competition or challenge!
